Dead Keys

I want to ask if it exist a bug in gcin. I want to enter chinese traditional and spanish. If i change to default enter-mode (spanish) (i use Windows-Key + Space), keyboard-layout is like spanish except i cannot use dead keys : i enter and later 'a' appare "'a" not "á". Same is happen with other dead key : '"' for write "ä" for example in german. I uninstall gcin, so i can again write spanish or german without problems. There exist a solution inside gcin or it is a Bug ? I thank every help.

    I think the problem is, that gcin may be for many based on standard US or GBr keyboard(s) if you are just running the IM as for example Es or Deu most possibly there are fonemes which cannot show up or input correctly. You may add to your panels keyboard indicator and thus switch to the USA/GBr and the like when using gcin, and Es when you have to write in spanish.

      I have the same problem with gcin. Dead key is not working. In my ubuntu box, I have two keyboard layout, USA and LAm. After using compose key to switch from first to second, the dead key still not function properly.
