酷音的方式值得參考.
不過以好按的程度來說, 'gcin' 的方式, 手完全不須離開去按 shift, 而且不須

gcin 也可以線上加詞
把 cursor 游標移至要存的詞句的開頭,按下 shift-Enter, 則會自 cursor 所在
它還會動態調整同音詞與同音字，把使用者常用的詞字擺在前面。

沒寫清楚， ↓gnome 2.2
剛剛在rh9, gnome第一次裝(0.1.3)
configure; make; make install
然後修改/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/xinput
xcin改成gcin就可以了(也可以把xcin關掉，進x以後再執行gcin啦)
試用以後的感覺：這個詞音真是太棒了！
不過我用的結果有些地方怪怪的：

我剛剛也在 debian unstable 下包了個 gcin 的 deb 來安裝，真的好好用阿!
雖然以介面來說，還沒有 scim 這麼美麗，不過個有個的優缺點

一個小小的建議：
因為ㄐ ㄉ ㄈ ㄇ ㄉ4 以及 shift + , . [] ' : ' ; 等等也很難包辦所有 big5
是否可像微軟新注音一般有 ctrl+alt+, 這種功能鍵 show 出符號鍵盤
我是趁著這股熱潮趕快丟出一些建議
剛剛我才換用 gcin，真的是非常好用阿!!!感謝您的貢獻
