how can I input with chinese
I have already install gcin.
when I type "gcin -v"  in terminal,it show

 "gcin get env LC_CTYPE=  LC_ALL=  LANG=en_US.UTF-8
gcin will use Big5 as the default encoding
gcin: version 0.9.2"

and I type "pgrep gcin"
it show "3738",then I enter  "vi /proc/3738/environ",I can not find this parameter "XMODIFIERS",so I dont know how to go down.

please help me

My platform i386
My OS is fedora 3

and you can reply me with chinese

I want type chinese in this problem originally,but I can not use gcin.
