excuse me that I can not input chinese right now~

I've got the following error on the titled command:

and the file "../encodings/encodings.dir" is in fact at
"/usr/share/fonts/encodings/encodings.dir"

and also, I've tried "pacman" in the directory "/usr/share/fonts/encodings"

我剛安裝最新的兩套 arphic 字型都沒問題- 會不會是你下載的版本本身的問題？

另外 fireflysung 也在 arch 的 repo內，但是他的版本並沒有更新到與 xorg7 相容， fontpath 還沿用舊的慣例。要安裝 fireflysung 的，可能需要自己手動一下，調整一下。

PS 剛仔細的看了一下 pkg 的內容，發現只要把其他的 ttf- 檔案包內的 ttf.install 複製到ttf-fireflysung 目錄下，自己 makepkg 即可。

我的repo如下：
current & extra 是 cle
其他是pacman.d下面的
（因為cle沒有mirror其他的，對嗎？）
不過我有放testing&community

另外，我已經升級到xorg 7.0，
所以我想應該是這個問題，
目前我已經手動安裝這三個字型檔了～

可能要請maintain的人看一下要怎麼修到相容於xorg 7.0
因為越來越多人會升級了...

我也是 Xorg7，不過是全新安裝。安裝後安裝三套中文字型都沒問題。不過 fireflysung 因為他的 ttf.install 還是舊的版本（至少在幾個禮拜前），所以安裝完並無法直接在 X 中看到與使用（path 錯誤）。套換過新的 ttf.install，也就是從其他 ttf-xx 得的 pkg 捉來的版本後，自己打包 (abs/makepkg) 再安裝後，一切正常。

我原本也是不想換到新得 xorg.. 但是不換，很多套件都會起衝突。所以後來決定來個全新的 clean install。只安裝 base 然後依需要慢慢再從 pacman 捉來安裝。

到目前為止還沒遇到你說的問題。

或許要比對一下 cle repo 裡面的套件和其他 site 的版本？
